Shira Lane, founder of the Atrium opens for Mayor Darrell Steinberg on this morning for his 2021 State of the City address. The event was preceded by live arts performances, including a special appearance by Sacramento’s Alexandra Huynh, who was recently named National Youth Poet Laureate. Mayor Steinberg also will announce the recipient of the 2021 Mort Friedman Legacy Award, which recognizes outstanding individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to public service.
