Atrium 916, a sustainability center in Old Sacramento, hosted a photo experience Wednesday with some of Santa’s elves. Families got to take pictures but also got to create hand-made ornaments that are eco-friendly. The elves shared a message on how their sustainability choices could affect Santa, but a lot of the kids just had fun.
“Cutest Christmas backdrop I’ve ever seen. It got my 8-year-old — who hates pictures with a passion, and I cannot get a smile out of him — excited and smiley. I am so happy,” mom Eva Schwartz said.
