Tucked into the charming cobblestone patio of the Atrium in Old Sacramento, the Atrium Art Café Gallery is a vibrant hub for creativity and connection. From sculpting with clay to painting reusable tote bags, guests are invited to unwind, create, and be inspired. Enjoy people-watching in a historic setting while sipping locally brewed kombucha or tea.

Our art cafe is always family friendly, in fact we love to stretch creative little minds.
This is a great sit down activity that engages the young ones giving the parents a place to drink a cold beverage, people watch and craft. Old Sacramento can be hectic and get crazy with all the candy.
How much is it ?
Visit us in Old Sacramento – It costs $15 to make a clay magnet or key chain, $20 to paint a canvas, and $24 to paint your own tote bag. All proceeds help our nonprofit organization continue to deliver programming and support to our local creatives who all are working on building a kind creative and sustainable future.
What is the ZERO WASTE MOBILE ART CAFE?
The Zero Waste Mobile Art Cafe is a traveling leave no trace solar-powered mobile popup activation providing a sustainable creative outlet with climate-ready and waste-reduction programming in communities using art, science, and games.
Intended to accelerate creativity, creative thinking, environmental education, and community vitality for all. The Zero Waste Mobile Art Cafe as an activation that pops up with 10 bright tables and 20 chairs, for a picturesque bistro café experience that serves art and a sustainability education game.
Do I need to book a head of time in Old Sac?
You can, but you don’t have to. You can just show up whenever we are open and we will be happy to serve you your dose of creative happiness. There is an option to book through Eventbrite using this link. Booking through Eventbrite will enable us to contact you in case our gallery and cafe need to close early for any reason.
What is the cost for the Zero Waste Mobile Art Cafe to come to my event?
We love to bring our Zero Waste Mobile Art Cafe as an art activation to any festival or event. We have done this for Concerts, Festivals and Private Events.
It is an interactive way to increase creative engagement among attendees and entice early attendance. For example – “The first 25 paint for free”- If this sounds like something that would work for your event. Please schedule a meeting with us to brainstorm your event.
Cost depends on the amount of people to be served, and if you are in an underserved community – sponsorship might be available, normally the minimum cost would be $600. Please schedule a meeting to go over options to make this work for you. This program really helps support our community assistance programs – so thank you for considering it.
